November Lego Club! November 15th at 3:30 p.m. – Come to the library and build with Legos!
 
The club meets every third Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
Kids ages 4+ are welcome. Join any time of the year, registration is not needed.
Legos are provided!

Join us for the Birthday Bash Open House! It is an event that will have something for everyone. Below are the major highlights!

10:00 a.m. High School Pep Band
11:00 a.m. Opening of the 1968 Time Capsule, followed by cake and scrumptious pies donated by Sweet Peas
12:00-2:00 p.m. Mayville High School Choral Performances
12:00-2:00 p.m. Face Painting
12:30-1:30 p.m. Strolling Magician & Illusionist Kirk Patrick will do up-close magic
1:00-3:00 p.m. Elsa and her snowman and reindeer friends will meet their fans
2:00 p.m. Ukerazy Ukulele Band Performance

Wisconsin German Experience Traveling Exhibit

Now on display at the library, the Max Kade Institute’s traveling exhibit “Neighbors Past and Present: the Wisconsin German Experience.” This exhibit consists of fourteen poster panels that cover German migration and settlement in Wisconsin, questions of ethnicity and identity in newly forged communities, and more! See this display before January 12, 2024, when it will be packed up to travel to its next destination.

Genealogy Round Table – October

Join us! Thursday, October 26th at 6:30 p.m. is the next Genealogy Round Table Discussion.
Come learn more about genealogy and hear Carla Hagen give a presentation about Graceland Cemetery. Carla is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Association which manages the city owned Cemetery which has been in existence since Mayville’s beginnings. Graceland Cemetery Association maintains the cemetery and burial activities in the cemetery.
All who are interested from beginner to experienced researchers are welcome! Ages 10 and up.

Adult Book Club – October

Join us for our next adult book club meeting on Tuesday, October 16th, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss Miss Cecily’s Recipes for Exceptional Ladies by Vicky Zimmerman.

We will be Closing for the Move

We will begin moving to our new location at 234 N. John St. at the end of the month. For the move, we will close starting on Saturday, September 30th.
