  • Recommended John Street site for new library

  • Looked at present library and why a new one is needed
  • Read and discussed 2008 Library Study for a new library
  • Toured Red Brick School as possibility
  • Identified and analyzed 7-10 possible sites for new library in downtown area for size and location
  • Toured area libraries for overview to determine what we need – Slinger, Germantown, Oconomowoc, Watertown, Cedarburg, Juneau
  • LEAC – Library Exploratory Advisory Committee Appointed
  • Mayville Mayor appointed Pat Antony, Gene Frings, Lisa Neumann, Andy Shoemaker, Sue Smith, Shelia Steger Librarian, Alixe Bielot Library Director to the Library Exploratory Advisory Committee (LEAC)
